The following projects represent the experience of the principals currently working for Roberts Environmental Consulting, Inc.
We have completed Federal and State
wetland delineation and permitting projects in New York,
Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida. We have assisted
clients to resolve enforcement actions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
resulting from dredge or fill in regulated waters of the United Stated,
including wetlands, as well as to obtain permits for major and minor impacts to
regulated resource areas.
Principals have designed and
implemented wetland creation, restoration, and enhancement
projects for stormwater treatment and as compensatory wetland mitigation. We
have designed, implemented and monitored successful wetland creation projects in
New York, California, and Connecticut.
We have prepared environmental
permits and Environmental Impact Statements or assessments for
a variety of large and small projects. Major EISs have been prepared under the
National Environmental Policy Act for large federal facilities, and in
compliance with state environmental review requirements in New York,
Massachusetts and Delaware. Principals have managed the preparation of EIS
documents and supplemental studies for major projects for the City of New York
and State of New York in compliance with CEQRA, ULURP and SEQRA.
We have expertise in designing and
conducting scientifically sound water quality and biological
studies. We specialize in the collection and analysis of terrestrial
and aquatic vegetation data, benthic invertebrate studies. We have extensive
experience in statistical analysis of multivariate ecological
data.
We have performed ecological risk assessments at Superfund sites throughout New England. We are familiar with EPA ecological risk assessment policy and guidance. Working as contractors with EPA Region I, we have provided review and oversight assistance to EPA site managers for ecological studies produced in conjunction with Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies (RI/FSs) and removal Actions at Superfund Sites in New England. Principal is a current member of the Biological Technical Assistance Group (BTAG) for EPA Region I.
